Due to the generosity of the community, Open Door Mission has been forced to close its drop off locations, as all possible storage space is full. Thank you!
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Open Door Mission has paused many of its programs to focus on safe shelter and quality care at this time. This has meant Family Outreach/Donation Centers have been closed (Elkhorn & Council Bluffs). Yet, many want to make an impact right now, right here, in our communities.
Well now you can! You can partner with Open Door Mission and Dingman’s Collision Center to provide HOPE for individuals and families experiencing homelessness. Meet us at Dingman’s Collision Center in Millard off 144th St on Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. starting tomorrow, April 29th, and every Wednesday in May.
Dingman’s Collision Center employees will be providing COVID -19 Relief by collecting non-perishable food items, kid-friendly snacks, over the counter medicines, diapers, gently used clothing, household goods, toys and so much more.
Just drive up and honk, stay in your car, we will do the unloading wearing our masks and gloves to keep everyone SAFE. Tax-deductible receipts provided.
With your help, WE can work together and provide a Summer of Hope for our neediest neighbors. Yes, seasons are changing but hunger and homelessness remain.
