Huntington Learning Center

By News May 4, 2020 | 5:12 PM

We are adhering to all the CDC and governmental regulations.  We are having our centers cleaned regularly by a professional cleaning service as well as on-going daily cleaning with solution that is FDA approved to kill the corona virus. Students also have their own supplies that only they use.  We are adhering to 10 people or less in the centers at a time.

We are offering our same great 1:1 program online for students.  These sessions use our same curriculum and teachers.  It is like being in the center we just have a screen between us for extra safety.

We are offering a couple of specials right now:

For families of 1st responders:

Free Academic Evaluation and 2 free sessions.  This offer will be valid through June 30th.    Currently we have been instructing families on our new platform called Huntington Live.  We instruct students 1:1 just like in-center only with a screen between us to keep everyone safe.  To sign up at either of our centers in Omaha call 1-800-CANLEARN.

For all families:

$100 off an academic evaluation.  The evaluation would be just $95.  This special also runs through June 30th.

Huntington Learning Centers provide supplemental education to students K-12th grade. Huntington Learning Centers are accredited by the Middle States Association. We help students build skills in the areas of reading, writing, phonics, vocabulary, math, study skills, and test prep. Huntington Learning Centers have been providing educational services to families for 43 years. This is a great time for High School students to work on ACT Prep. It helps keep their skills sharp and gets them scholarships to go to college. Right now many teens have more free time than ever and are looking for something to do. Our average ACT gains are 5. 2 points.

We are in a time of educational crisis. To help out families we have many resources to help kids and their parents cope. At Huntington we do have in-person and 1:1 on-line instruction. Help is needed in our community to help students get ready for the upcoming school year. Statistics state that kids will slide back 6-9 months this summer due to the Covid-19 crisis. In order to help, Huntington has many resources for families. We have launched our Reading Adventure Live Program. This is for any family and is designed to keep students reading and have fun while doing it. We are continually offering free webinars covering timely topics for families. We have fantastic programs the kids can do this summer to catch back up and be ready for their ACT tests and/or classes in the fall.

We are offering additional savings to our first responder families as well. We are offering a free academic evaluation and two free online sessions. We are excited to be part of the Omaha-metro community and want to help our local families.
