With the continued threat posed by COVID-19, the safety of the public, our clients, and our employees is of paramount concern to us. We have established meeting protocol such that meetings will be held via video or telephone conference whenever possible. If an in-person meeting is required, some of the procedures we have implemented are: we request the visitor call from the parking lot when they arrive so we can ensure the lobby area and/or meeting room are clear and sanitized. We also require that both the visitor and employee wear a mask, and if signatures are needed during meeting, we ask that the visitor take the pen they used with them. In addition, Vandenack Weaver has been approved to perform Remote Online Notarizations. Principal(s) will no longer be required to be in the physical presence of the notary public, which will enhance the safety of the public as well as our employees.
Furthermore, we have developed practices to facilitate electronic signatures to the extent possible and have created a safe environment for any signatures required in office.
We have developed a web page specific to COVID-19. The web page includes articles, analysis, presentations, and links to resources all related to COVID-19.
Furthermore, our attorneys are continually monitoring COVID-19 rules, regulations, and legislations. New information and/or updates are communicated to the public via webinars, E-Mail blasts, and/or LinkedIn posts, as well as via the aforementioned COVID-19 web page.
