Celebs Send Messages To Support LGBTQ Youth For Spirit Day

Celebrities are showing their support for LGBTQ youth for Spirit DayHalle Berry, Elizabeth Banks, Alison Brie and more stars have taken to social media wearing purple in honor of the annual LGBTQ awareness day celebrated on the third Thursday in October, taking a stand against bullying.

As explained by GLAAD, pledging to “Go Purple” is a way to show solidarity with LGBTQ youth, as part of a worldwide anti-bullying campaign.
